Binance was founded in 2017 in China by Changpeng Zhao, commonly known as CZ. Kucoin operates from Seychelles and offers several trading options, including spot trading, instant exchanges, futures and margin trading plus you can maximise your earnings by lending and staking your crypto on Kucoin. A unique feature of this exchange is you can set up a bot to do automated trading for you.

The downside to the exchange is it is purely crypto to crypto trading with no FIAT markets. Gate.io was established in 2013 by Lin Han and is one of the pioneering cryptocurrency exchanges in the world. It was initially based in China but moved to the Cayman Islands due to China’s increasing regulation of cryptocurrency. Gate.io allows spot trading only so that means no margin, futures options or crypto lending or staking.
